| Goals | ||
| PC Computer users are assisted through education classes, monthly user meetings, a newsletter, and the opportunity to participate in Special Interest Groups (SIGs). ChPCUG collaborates with all organizations and government agencies interested in advancing computer knowledge for members of the local community. |

| General Meetings | ||
| Monthly meetings consist of question and answer periods and a presentation related to the use of computer technology or computer software. Meetings are held when school is in session at 7 P.M. September through June at the Severn River Middle School, 241 Peninsula Farm Rd,.Arnold, MD 21012 Meetings are held in either the Library or the Large Meeting Room. |

| Newsletter | ||
| A newsletter, The Printer, consisting of announcements and articles of interest to the membership is published and distributed monthly September through June. A newsletter archive is maintained and is available at this site, in PDF format (see the "Newsletters" menu link above). Newsletters are available on-line only after a three month delay. |

Special Interest Groups or SIGs consist of small group discussions, demonstrations, and the opportunity to share knowledge and skills related to a specific area. ChPCUG currently has three active SIG's:

| Educational Program | ||
| Periodically software classes are offered to the ChPCUG members and the general public. An example of the courses offered is an 8-week, one evening a week, Windows XP course. A small fee is charged for the classes to cover the expense of printing class notes. The dates and times of the classes are announced in the ChPCUG monthly newsletter, The Printer, on this web site, and in local newspapers. |
