Special Interest Groups or SIGs consist of small group discussions, demonstrations, and the opportunity to share knowledge and skills related to a specific area. ChPCUG currently has three active SIG's:

Mid-Shore Computer Users Group SIG - This latest extension of the group services computer users on Maryland's eastern shore.
Refurbishment SIG - Volunteers refurbish computers for those individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations that are unable to afford the purchase of a new computer
Periodically software classes are offered to the ChPCUG members and the general public. An example of the courses offered is an 8-week, one evening a week, Windows XP course.
A small fee is charged for the classes to cover the expense of printing class notes. The dates and times of the classes are announced in the ChPCUG monthly newsletter, The Printer, on this web site, and in local newspapers.
Membership benefits include the monthly program meetings, the newsletter, the SIGs and the educational programs. Annual ChPCUG dues are $40.00.
