| In addition to the general monthly meetings and the SIG meetings, the Chesapeake PC Users Group has established a tradition of offering computer education classes over the years. These classes are open to the membership as well as to the local community. All age groups, from teenage participants through seniors are welcome. Generally, there is a nominal fee charged for each course, which covers the cost of the training materials provided. Classes are developed around various topics (the Windows 7 operating system for example) as the need arises. These classes run for 8-weeks and meet evenings from 7:00 to about 9:00 P.M. at the Severn River Middle School in Arnold MD in the Large Meeting room where the ChPCUG holds its monthly meetings. |
